Institute of Resource Development and Social management (IRDAS) is a registered Society under the then Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Public Societies Registration Act, 1350 Fasli (Act I of 1350F) vide Certificate of Registration No.362 of 1987 dated 23/02/1987. It was established by group of Retired Govt. officials and professionals of repute as a Non-Government Organization to do research and development and training. Since the founder Chairperson, Mr. S. Turab ul Hasan, was an expert on Irrigation, water management and agriculture, several like-minded people had gathered together to develop competence in agriculture, irrigation, water resources development etc. to help farmers. They through seminar, conferences and field work monitored/evaluated the impact of
various Govt. and non-governmental schemes and activities in the Agricultural sector. The institute provided consultancy and professional services to several organizations, through the expertise and experience of the founding members. From time to time, they involved people for conducting surveys, carry out field work and train officials and stakeholders through
International and nationally funded projects. “A well-designed program to promote productive behaviour and skills can not only energize an organization’s workforce but also become an essential element of any successful transformation “(Bachmann, Skerritt, & McNally, 2021). This is exactly in line with the vision of the founders of IRDAS, who wanted to educate a workforce that would contribute substantially to any organisation, institution, government and society at large.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We work to help the people providing services with the people who need them. Come connect with people in new ways.
